Match the action to what is already visible
Imagine a fictional adult ceramic artist seated at a workbench near a window. A glance toward the window uses details already in the picture. Standing up and walking across an unseen studio asks for much more than the source establishes.
Look closely at the still before proceeding. Check any face, hand or prop involved in the movement. If the picture already has an unwanted detail, address the source rather than relying on animation to repair it.
Use the picture as the video's starting point
In the generator, move to Video and select the existing character or image route. Keep the source and motion brief aligned: describe what happens within this shot rather than rebuilding the subject from scratch.
- Select the character image you intend to animate.
- Choose Video and the existing-image animation route.
- Write one main action and identify the appearance or setting details that should remain the same.
- Read the available output settings, access notice and displayed token total.
- Send the request when ready, then review the full clip before ordering another version.
Ask for one change within a stable scene
For the studio idea, describe the adult artist pausing at the workbench and turning toward the window. Ask to keep the apron, workbench and room unchanged, with steady framing. Treat these as instructions to review against the result, not a guarantee of perfect consistency.
After viewing a result, identify what matters most to fix. Perhaps the subject turned away from the window, or an object changed shape. Make the next brief address that problem instead of adding a new outfit, location and camera move all at once.
Check the cost of the still and the motion separately
The listed rate is 20 tokens for video generation. Creating a new source image is a separate request listed at 2 tokens. Confirm the displayed charge before each submission, and do not assume message subscriptions include endless animation attempts or automatic refunds when an output disappoints.
Common questions
Can I animate a picture I made earlier in DarLink?
Yes. Use an existing character or image as the starting material. Select the source you want rather than relying on a new description to recreate all its details.
What if my starting picture comes from another service?
Check the upload options and file rules available in your account before importing it. External formats and upload support should not be assumed from the ability to animate a DarLink character image.
Will the subject look exactly the same in every frame?
Perfect consistency is not guaranteed. Watch the entire result and compare the character, clothing and objects with the still before deciding whether the clip is suitable.
May I make an intimate edit of someone else's photograph?
Keep the workflow to fictional adult characters. Do not use another person's private pictures or recognizable likeness for intimate, deceptive or non-consensual alterations.
Does image-to-video include a voice or soundtrack?
Do not assume audio, dialogue or lip synchronization. A motion prompt and a selected character voice are separate from any explicit audio feature offered by the video tool.
